chocolate In 1955, wafers produced by founder Mr. Shiryou Kawai were well received as they maintained their crispy texture even though the sealing technology for package then was not as good as it is now. The wafers maintained steady sales and became the base support for the company. In 1965, with the installation of machines from Europe, we began to produce chocolate products. The production of miniature chocolate and peanut chocolate products provided stable sales for our company. At the same time, we also started developing and producing OEM products which brought further development for the company. In 1979, Toyohashi factory was opened specially to coop with the demand from customers towards our baked confectionery. We developed products such as Choco Nuts Three, Choco Nuts Five etc produced by our NR lines, which later lead to the production of our hit product gBlack Thunderh. Black Thunder opened a new market for pocket size chocolate confectionery. For further steady supply of our products, Toyohashi Yume Factory was opened in 2010. Products of the retail distribution unit helped us strengthen our position as confectionery maker and they are also our motivation to strive for better development.
